Urban Combat students delivered outstanding performances this weekend during the WTKA Team GB Selection Process for the 2026 European Championships and World Championships, further strengthening Urban Combat’s reputation as one of the leading Karate and Kickboxing clubs in Ipswich, Colchester and across Essex and Suffolk.
Held at the Urban Combat Fitness Centre in Ipswich, the event welcomed a fantastic turnout of martial artists competing for the opportunity to potentially represent Team GB at the 2026 WTKA European Championships in Barnsley and the WTKA World Championships in Tuscany, Italy.
Across Kata, Kumite, Points Fighting, Light Continuous Kickboxing and fitness assessments, competitors displayed exceptional determination, technical ability and sportsmanship.
For Urban Combat, this was another proud moment as more talented martial artists were identified for future international competition pathways.
